2012 - February 1: I'm going to slowly start re-posting the interviews I've done over the last couple years on my website to my 500px blog, where I think they might reach a larger (and more targeted) audience. 2010 - December 15: Claire Martin, whom I interviewed last year, is currently in Haiti shooting a documentary series on what life is really like there. If you'd like to help her complete that work, please head over to her IndieGoGo project page and donate. 2010 - November 2: It's that time of year again, NaNoWriMo is upon us- and I'm one of its many participants. My hope is that by the end of the end of the month, I'll have enough new material, when combined with what I've been (very slowly) working on over the last year, to finally put together the novel I've been promising. Stay tuned.

2010 - September 15: Minor site design refresh today, but there's a somewhat more major refresh coming in the next few weeks! I'm also starting work on a self-produced photo chapbook based on my recent 'Underpass' series. More details soon, but will definitely be available in time for the Holidays.

2010 - April 19: New docu is up on the 2010 Izod IndyCar Series Race to the Party event that took place on the 15th in front of the Hollywood Mann Chinese Theatre. Read & See more

2010 - April 15: Three of my landscape prints will be featured among the many at the first annual Take Your Best Shot photography event to take place tomorrow, April 16, 2010 from 6:00-10:00pm at the Barnes & Noble on Valencia Blvd and Magic Mountain Parkway in Santa Clarita, CA. A portion of both print sales and anything purchased from B&N (and the Starbucks in the back of the store) during the event will go to the Children of Promise charity, a non-profit that benefits fatherless children in the Santa Clarita Valley. There will also be a raffle, the full proceeds of which will go to Children of Promise, and I have donated a 1-hour photo-and-print session as one of the prizes.

2010 - April 7: Classic hot rods belching smoke out of gleaming chrome grills, Japanese robot action figures and voluptuous girls in rubber suits- it can only mean one thing... My interview with Chris Cooper, otherwise known as COOP, is up! Read more

2010 - April 5: Three of my photographs will be featured among the inaugural, Santa Clarita Valley group photography show, Take Your Best Shot! The opening will be on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 6pm-10pm at the Barnes & Noble on Valencia Boulevard and Magic Mountain Parkway. Part of the proceeds from print sales will got to the Children of Promise, a non-profit that helps fatherless kids in the Santa Clarita area!

2010 - February 5: I'm back on Flickr! Frankly, I received a lot of email about not being there anymore...so, I've created a new account. I'm still going to be more focused on other avenues, and It's kind of funny to start over, but I think it will all work out for the best. Thanks to everyone who let me know I was missed there.

2010 - January 29: For those of you who knew me from Flickr and are wondering where I went... I've decided to focus on the plans I've made for the next 10 to 12 months, and unfortunately Flickr was taking time away from bringing those plans to fruition. I may return to Flickr at some point, but for now you can keep up with me here, or at my Tumblr account. This is going to be a good year folks, so stay tuned!

2009 - December 03: The second of three new interviews is now up! I'm hashing out the details with that cinematic kid, Tommy Ga-Ken Wan. It's difficult to believe that he picked up a camera at age 14 and in the few years since has become a world-traveling (and world-renowned) photographer. But, once you see his work, it will all make sense. Read more

2009 - November 16: One of three new interviews is up! This time I talk with Claire Martin, a documentary photographer who has painted an evocative portrait of the people of two very different, yet hauntingly similar locations. Slab City, in the Salton Sea, California- and, the Downtown East Side neighborhood of Vancouver, Canada. Read more

2009 - November 10: Three new interviews are on their way to this site, and it's an international affair this time around. One photographer is in Western Australia, another in Spain, and the last in Scotland. Stay tuned, these will be fascinating reads for sure!

2009 - November 05: In its pre-planning stages for more than a year, my secret, long-term Winter project is finally underway. I will be very, very busy for the next four and a half months, and I will make a public announcement as to the nature of the project sometime in January, 2010.

2009 - November 03: Having made some in-roads into writing a full-length novel for more than a decade, I have -at last- begun to put my fountain pen where my mouth is. The book should be complete by late 2010 (or early 2011?).
